…… If you are familiar with this rare version of the “Visible Airplane Engine Model,” this is an original 1962 Renwal Products Inc. Model, not the 1980s remake. This is an operating 1/4-scale Model of the "Wasp," a 9-cylinder Radial Engine, by Pratt & Whitney that comes in the original 16 ½” tall by 22 ½” wide by 3” deep box. The corners of the box have separated, and tape has been added to the corners to retain its shape, plus a small piece is missing on one of the flaps. Despite these issues, the colors are still vibrant and there is only some minor color staining and toning. The inside of the box is in great condition; however, three cellophane windows to the small parts boxes inside have separated from the cardboard. The smallest box without the window still contains the motor, lights, and small pieces.
